Winter White

Winter White

It's been a bit of a while since I've felt color inspired.

On the recent gloomy Sunday, I noticed some attractive leaves that refused to be cowed by cold and wind. In the background a low mountain appeared even lower by my urge to shoot straight up into the leaves.

It took only seconds to convert the monochrome of the day into black and white, drop a piece of CD reflection into the background for alteration and manipulation with the Bamboo Fun Tablet and Adobe Photoshop Elements. Then, into FrameFun (free software) which applied the frame. I'm sure I'll return to play again with it, but for now I'm smiling.

Somehow this gray day gleams a little lighter!

I love this piece! Oh, how I miss using photoshop. I used to teach graphic/commercial art in the states. Now anything I do is by hand and I don't use the computer for any of it. But you never know.
